MoreMotion Application Studio is a RAD tool that is based on an open source Java web framework called MoreMotion AF

During build, the Application Studio compiles the visually designed pages of the project and creates MoreMotion AF compatible configuration files.

MoreMotion AF expects that the dynamic pages are in XSL format instead of JSP or JSF. The pages prepared visually with the Application Studio are converted to the XSLT style sheets automatically during the project build.

In addition to XSLT style sheet generation, the data source and the process definitions existing in the pages are transferred to the MoreMotion AF configuration files.

Three different Application Studio

There are three versions of the Application Studio available

• Application Studio Standard
• Application Studio Enterprise
• Application Studio Enterprise Plus

 Product Features Comparison Table

Application Studio Standard can be used free of charge for non-commercial use. There is only one setup  program for the three versions. In order to be able to use the features of the Enterprise edition, one has to obtain an Enterprise Edition License.
