WEB BASED
A Web browser is enough to use the mmDB Editor. With mmDB Editor, multiple users can simultaneously connect to an mmDB server. All operations related to mmDB databases can be performed using this editor.
NODE EXPLORER
The node structure of a database can be viewed from the node explorer located on the left hand side of the editor. The node explorer displays all subnodes of a node in tree view.
CUT / COPY / PASTE
The subnodes of a node can be transferred to other nodes via cut/copy/paste operations.
QUERIES
mmQL (MoreMotion Query Language), the query language used in mmDB queries, is an SQL-style query language. mmQL offers advanced features such as filtering, ordering, etc.
REPORTS
Frequently used queries, which may contain basic formatting definitions and dynamic criteria, can be logged into the system. These reports can be executed at any time to obtain actual results.
MAP DEFINITIONS
In mmDB Editor, each node can be connected to other databases or data sources. The properties of the datasource and connection criteria are specified in the Mappings window.
After the mapping process is completed, the data requested from the data source is integrated under the node and processed in the same way as mmDB data.
REMOTE FILE MANAGER
The fields that have the type "document" can be attained values via the Remote File Manager. Using the Remote File Manager of mmDB, the documents can be uploaded from local computer to the document directories on the server and create cut/copy/paste operations can be performed on these directories.
ADMINISTRATION
Using the administration pages of the editor the following operations can be performed:
- Create database
- Define database security
- Optimize database
- Back-up database
- Restore backed-up database
- Rename database
- Delete database
- Stop Database
