Creating, Removing, Restoring Alternate Pages

To create a page variant

1.	Select the page on the project explorer

2.	Right click on the page icon and select "Add Page Variant" from the context menu. "Variants" dialog will pop up.

3.	If you want to create a language variant of the master page, select the language from the list; otherwise just type its name.

4.	Click [OK].

The created page variant will appear with red color icon under the master page.

Page variants can be removed from the project.

To remove a page variant

1.	On the project explorer, right click on the page variant you want to remove

2.	Choose "Remove Page" from the context menu.

A removed page variant is not actually deleted from the disk. You can restore it back to the project.

To restore a removed page variant

1.	On the project explorer, right click on the master page of the removed page variant.

2.	Choose "Restore Page Variant(s)..." from the context menu. "Restore Page(s)"dialog will pop up.

3.	Select the page variant from the list

4.	Click [OK].
