Edit/Design State

Design State:

This is the normal state of the Application Studio. When the Application Studio is in this state we can use almost all the commands of the Application Studio.

Edit State:

When the Application Studio is in edit state the text values of the elements can be directly edited on the page design area.

The focused element will have a blue border to denote that edit state is active.

To activate the edit state either press F2 or double click to a text based element.

To deactivate the edit state either press F2 or click on an empty spot on the page. If you click on another text based element edit state continues and focus is transferred to that element.

We can edit the text values of the following elements when we are in the edit state.
