packagepub

If you want to prepare a package that includes everything (Java VM, Tomcat, MoreMotion AF and the Web Application) use Package Publish. A package, that is prepared with this option, can be deployed easily to other computers where MoreMotion Application Studio is not installed.

The Application Studio will also create shell files for Windows and Unix platforms to start and stop the application.

Publish to Directory

This is where the package will be prepared.

Tomcat Port

The connector port number of the the Tomcat in the publishing environment

Copy JRE (Java Runtime Environment)

Select this option if target platform is Windows and has no JRE installation.

Use Existing JRE

Select this option is a JRE installation is available on the target platform. Enter the name of the directory where JRE resides on the target platform in the editbox below the radio button which becomes editable when the option is selected. The given path will be written in the shell files that are used to start and stop the application on the target machine.

If you don't know the location, just enter any value. You will have to edit the 'startup' and 'shutdown'  files manually after you deploy the package on the target machine.

Click on [Publish] to proceed to the Publishing Dialogue.

You will not be able to manipulate the publish list in the Publishing Dialogue. All the files processed during build will be included in the package for the sake of system integrity
