Property "Character Set" <charset>

The Character Set property is used to set the encoding of the page. The encoding tells the browser how to encode the user input before sending the request to the web server and also how to decode the content of the page sent by the web server.

When a page is created the Charter Set property is set to its default. The default page Character Set is set in the Project Options dialog.

To set the encoding of page either select an encoding from the list or type a new one.
