The Search Element Dialog is used for searching an element in the active page or in all open pages by its name or value. Call the "Search element..." dialogue by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+F or by using "Edit | Search" menu command.

To search for an element:
| • | Enter the search criteria into the "Search for" field. |
| • | Choose the type of the element you want to search for in the "Element type" dialogue. |
| • | Choose "Active Page" or "All Open Pages" |
| • | Click the Start Search icon  |
The Found elements field lists all found elements. You can select a found element on the page by clicking  or reset the list by clicking
