Updating Library Elements

To update a library element existing in the system library or in the project library.

1.	Select the element you want to update on the library explorer

2.	Drag and Drop the element on a page by holding down the SHIFT Key. The element is copied on the page. If you don't use the SHIFT Key, a reference to the element is created on the page which is what we don't want.

3.	Make your changes on the element.

4.	Right click to the element and choose "Save Element" on the context menu.

An alternative way to update the library elements is to edit their XML files with an XML editor.

To update a library element with mmEd (MoreMotion XML Editor)

1.	Select the element on the library explorer

2.	Right click on the element and choose "Shell \| Send to mmEd" command on the context menu.
