Usage Restrictions

Top  Previous  Next

We can restrict the usage of an element by defining the Usage Restrictions properties on the property editor. As the "Usage Restrictions" term implies the restrictions will be effective when the element is being used. The restrictions will not be effective where the element is created.

To switch to the Usage Restrictions Definition Mode click on switch_to_urd_mode icon on the top-right corner of the property editor.

Here you see two set of parameters; The parameters in the upper-part belong to the element and the parameters in the lower-part belong to the properties of the element.

Each parameter has the same set of options that are:

1.Inherited: the value of the parameter is the same as the value of its parent container on the page
2.True: the restriction is enabled.
3.False: the restriction is disabled.
